Still need to drop the rear another inch and a half to match the natural front.

A few bags of concrete oughta do the trick.

I like it. The worst thing about trucks becoming Family cars is the lack of regular cab trucks on the road

The worst thing about trucks becoming family trucksters is the lack of anything the size of a Ranger available for purchase.

That actually is largely attributable to the CAFE being redone to be footprint oriented. Instead of small trucks helping to reach the better CAFE numbers, they became boat anchors dragging it down. For me, the Dakota was the perfect size truck.

My mother had a 1998 Dakota with the V6, full length bed, and the 1 1/2 cab. I always got stuck in the bench for the most part, but the bucket seats... Chrysler knew what they were doing in the 90s, that’s for sure.
That V6 still made plenty of power, and went where Silverados and F150s didn’t dare to drive. I got to drive it a grand total of two times before someone in the family decided they were going to romp on it, starve the engine of oil, and spin a bearing or two.
